Tim Cornelius – Guitar and Vocals

Tim has been playing guitar since he was 8 years old and has worked hard to perfect his playing. Tim’s love of music has driven his desire to form bands and attract players who complement each other well. Tim’s early musical training was Jazz guitar with the Kansas State Jazz Band and other smaller Kansas groups. As his musical interests grew, he organized other bands doing classic rock, blues, R&B, country, soul and disco. Tim formed Night Groove, an 8-piece entertainment band, in 2006 to develop an old school and new school variety big band. He frequently says, we must have a driving rhythm section and there is no substitute for “Live Horns”!!
